Inches, although private and secluded is within minutes walking distance of the village of Drymen where there are good hotels, pubs and restaurants, shops, 2 golf courses and tennis courts. Loch Lomond is a 10 minute car journey from the house.

The village of Drymen itself is in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park where activities such as golf, sailing, windsurfing, walking, climbing, mountain biking and fishing are on offer. The cultural capitals of Scotland are not far away: Glasgow 40 minutes by car and Edinburgh 1 hour by car.
