Cycling: There are miles of forest tracks within 10mins from the house.

Sailing: Loch Lomond is one of most famous lochs in Scotland.
Boats can be launched at Milarochy bay or MacFarlane's boat yard
at Balmaha . (10 mins drive from the house.)

Walking: Drymen is on the West Highland Way. Ben Lomond is 20 mins away.
Glencoe, a climbing centre, an hour and a half away.
There are many and varied walking routes within a short distance from the house.

Swimming: The municipal swimming pools of Balfron and Alexandria are 15 mins from the house.
Esporta the private Health club is 20 mins away.

Boat Trips: There are boat trips on Loch Lomond to see the islands and Loch Katrine.

Shopping: Local shopping is good. Supermarkets are 20 mins away. Lomond shores has a Jenners department store.
Glasgow (40mins) and Edinburgh (1hr) both excellent shopping centres.

Eating out: Drymen itself has 2 Hotels and 2 restaurant /bars. Local villages have at least one pub in each village.
